Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking an Elementary School Gifted and Talented teacher (Grades 1-6) for district-wide enrichment for the 2026-2027 school year.

The role requires collaboration with classroom teachers to identify high-performing students and create enrichment schedules aligned with NJ State Standards. The position emphasizes delivering enrichment, researching GT topics, and developing curriculum with input from district leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Hold a New Jersey Teaching Certificate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of STEM concepts and Career Readiness, and Life Skills standards through NJSLS.
• Experience researching topics involving Gifted and Talented programs for elementary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Delivers enrichment lessons to gifted and talented students across district buildings.
• Collaborates with administrators and Senior Lead Educators to align G&T instruction with NJ State Standards.
• Identifies high-performing students and creates schedules for enrichment services.
• Prepares communications for parents regarding program acceptance.
• Designs curriculum and identifies resources for implementation.
• Identifies student lists for NJ SMART Report submission.
• Attends professional development to stay updated on G&T practices.
• Supports general education teachers with accommodations for G&T students.
• Provides recommendations to improve district policies and school-based implementation; conducts surveys and interviews for improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
