Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a gifted education teacher to identify eligible students, develop a strong gifted curriculum, and implement engaging instruction. You will communicate regularly with building principals and parents to support student progress and program growth.

The role emphasizes collaboration with other teachers, creation of Written Education Plans (WEPs), and above-grade level activities that challenge students while maintaining compliant records and adherence to district policies.

Qualifications

• Identify students eligible for the gifted program.
• Prepare a Written Education Plan (WEP) for each student.
• Provide instruction differentiated from the standard curriculum above-grade level.
• Develop and implement a creative, enriching program of instruction per WEP.
• Collaborate with other teachers to develop and revise the gifted program.
• Communicate regularly with principals, teachers and parents about progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identification of students for the gifted program.
