Candidates must hold a Bachelor's, a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements, and 30 GT hours; starting salary begins

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academics.
• 30 GT hours Foundational Certification or complete the hours during the first semester of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pull out schedule to meet with GT students.
• Assist with meetings with principals/administrators to approve schedules and updates.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom environment on each campus.
• Plan and arrange field trips including lunches and permissions.
• Differentiate for GT students using Depth and Complexity.
• Maintain GT documentation and progress reports for students.
