Clear Creek ISD is seeking an Advanced Academics Specialist (Anticipated) for 2026-27. The role focuses on GT identification, specialized instruction for identified students, and district-wide professional learning in gifted education.

Qualifications include 30 hours GT Awareness, Texas GT Certification, a bachelor’s degree, and a valid Texas certificate. Requires minimum 3 years of teaching experience and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct GT identification, campus screening and parent communication.
• Provide campus/district professional learning in gifted education and updates.
• Deliver face-to-face or virtual instruction for identified gifted students.
• Support curriculum design and instructional design at campuses.
• Provide personalized learning opportunities for gifted learners, including acceleration.
• Guide student learning in alignment with district philosophy.
