Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move merchandise as needed.

• Rotate displays and signage to reflect inventory changes.
• Maintain safe handling procedures for knives and lifting tasks.
• Assist other departments in warehouse operations as required.
• Ensure daily closing assignments and responsibilities are completed.
• Provide excellent customer relations with internal and external customers.

Description

Pay: $16/hour

Schedule: 11:00AM - 8:00PM | Days will vary

EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED:

• General warehouse duties such as, but not limited to: loading and unloading of trucks, make sure all merchandise is labeled with a destination using a scan gun properly,move merchandise to the floor using carts
• Move merchandise from on bay to another as instructed
• Making sure merchandise that is being displayed looks the best possible way it can
• Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion
• Use proper procedures when working with knifes, flat carts, and lifting merchandise
• Assisting other departments in the warehouse as needed
• Check daily closing assignments and responsibilities
• Use excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers
• Perform any other duties as directed by management

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; ability to work in a face paced environment; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting upto 50 lbsfrequently andup to 50 lbs constantly to move objects.

Work Environment: Occasionally works in hot and/or cold temperatures and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
