Job summary

Mathis Home is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate at the Tulsa Distribution Center. This on-site role offers a schedule of 10:00 to 19:00 with Wednesdays and Sundays off, and a starting pay of $17.26 per hour.

The facility handles unloading, restock, order processing, and customer vehicle preparation, with a focus on safety and accuracy. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, restocking, processing returns and transfers, inspecting items for damage, and maintaining safe handling

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs and operate in a warehouse environment.
• Certification or licensing for lift trucks and related equipment is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and maintain safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and wrap items for restock.
• Distribute and process merchandise and transfers.
• Inspect furniture for damage and functionality.
• Enter/process parts orders and assist customers as needed.
• Assist with loading customer vehicles and maintain clean work areas.

Description

Starting Pay:$17.26

Schedule:10am to 7pm Wednesday/ Sunday Off

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

• Unloading trucks
• Wrapping items for restock
• Dispositioning returned merchandise
• Entering/processing parts orders
• Loading customers vehicles
• Unboxing items with proper technique
• Inspecting furniture for damage, functionality, defects, imperfections
• Removal and proper processing of items from delivery zones using a scan gun
• Removing trash from work areas
• Removing trash from external property
• Receiving/processing transfers
• Checking daily closing assignments
• Use excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs.; must be able to pass lift truck Licensing test (written and physical); must weigh less than 300 lbs. (manufacturer requirement); Tugger and scissor lift Certification; Ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work:

Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Work Environment:

Occasionally works in hot and/or cold temperatures and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions Lift Truck Operators/Tugger Operators perform tasks up to 45 feet in the air.
