Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley is seeking a friendly Retail Guest Service Associate to greet guests, upsell merchandise, and maintain attractive shop displays. You will operate the POS system, handle cash, and balance the drawer at shift end while ensuring accurate records for accounting.

You’ll develop product knowledge, assist both internal and external guests, communicate shift information to the next team, and contribute to high levels of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or ability to pass Basic Skills Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Upsell and recommend products to guests.
• Learn merchandise and assist guests with information.
• Operate POS system and process payments (cash, credit, comp).
• Balance cash drawer and complete required accounting paperwork.
• Record merchandise sales and stock on hand.
• Maintain knowledge of Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley events to inform guests.
• Communicate important information to the next shift.
• Create and set up displays for new or featured products.
• Promote guest service and satisfaction.
• Attend department meetings.
• Ensure correct pricing and display of merchandise.
• Maintain attendance record.
• Exhibit teamwork throughout shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
