Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a GI Tech in Highland Park, IL, with the ability to float to Evanston, Glenbrook and Skokie locations. Full-time, 8am–5:30pm with some Saturdays, nights, and holidays as needed. Hourly pay ranges from $20.69 to $30.00, reflecting experience and qualifications.

You will assist the RN and physician, prepare procedures, maintain equipment, respond to emergencies, and participate in on-call duties across GI Lab locations.

Qualifications

• Experience as Patient Care Tech, Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant highly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required or highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy and medical terminology.
• Basic computer experience and ability to take vitals.

Responsibilities

• Assist under RN supervision in implementing the care plan.
• Assist physician and RN during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly.
• Set up procedures, manage supplies/equipment, and reprocess endoscopes.
• Float to other GI Lab locations as needed and meet on-call criteria.
