Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a professional Clinical Nurse (RN) to deliver and coordinate evidence-based care for an assigned patient group. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, provide education, and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes across shifts.

The role emphasizes advocacy, professional growth, and adherence to nursing standards, policies, and ethics within the NMH framework.

Qualifications

Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association.
Analytic ability (conceptual and quantitative).
Oral, listening and written communication skills.
Strong human relation skills to interact effectively and collaborate with others in difficult situations.
Use of a keyboard to enter or retrieve data.
