Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
• BSN or higher degree in nursing.
• Current State of Illinois RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association.
• Analytic ability (conceptual and quantitative).
• Oral, listening and written communication skills.
• Strong human relation skills to collaborate with others.
• Use of a keyboard to enter or retrieve data.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent, evidence-based care for assigned patients.
• Adhere to ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and Code of Ethics.
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Advance patient plan of care and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Maintain professional growth and participate in ongoing education and specialty certification when eligible.
