Job summary

Mercy Medical Center, Inc. in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a GI Research Coordinator to support the Prevention and Research Center. The role includes scheduling, medical record management, clinical data entry and billing submission, with opportunities to assist in grants and manuscript preparation.

Responsibilities include patient recruitment, data entry, and general research operations support, requiring strong interpersonal and organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2 years experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) a plus.
• Experience with clinical/patient interactions a plus.

The Program Coordinator will carry out the day to day operations of the Prevention and Research Center including research operations and clinical activities. Clinical activities will include patient scheduling, medical record management, clinical data entry and billing submission. Research operations support will include basic office duties, preparation of research grants and manuscripts, data entry. Functions will include assisting in the conduct of research studies including patient recruitment and data entry. Position requires a working knowledge and experience with the following computer packages: Microsoft Office (including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint. Outstanding interpersonal and organization skills a must.
