Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD is seeking a GI Research Coordinator to join our dedicated Prevention and Research Center team. You will manage daily research operations, coordinate patient scheduling, and ensure accurate data entry and billing submissions, supporting studies from recruitment through data analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience, with strong Microsoft Office skills and comfort with patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) a plus.
• Experience with clinical/patient interactions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operations of the Prevention and Research Center including research operations and clinical activities.
• Schedule patients, manage medical records, enter data, and submit billing.
• Support research operations: prepare grants and manuscripts, data entry.
• Assist in conduct of research studies including patient recruitment and data entry.
