Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• One year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care in a hospital setting.
• Participate in education, evaluation of care, and planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate leadership in unit goals and safety practices.
• Assess patient/family needs and plan discharge readiness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary resources for care planning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
