UNC Health Care in Chapel Hill is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide competent nursing care in the GI procedures Meadowmont unit. Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, you will coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting.

The role offers 40 hours per week, day shift, with a focus on patient care excellence and teamwork, including opportunities for growth. Salary range reflects an hourly wage with standard hospital benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• If hired after January 6, 2014, must pursue a BSN or MSN within seven years.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in NC and BLS certification required.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Education – identify learning needs and provide appropriate materials.
• Evaluation of care – participate in plan-of-care discussions and ensure continuity.
• Implementation – care for patients with complex needs and coordinate resources.
• Leadership – support unit goals, promote collaboration, and ensure safe care.
• Patient assessment – prioritize care and plan for discharge.
• Planning – coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Research – engage with current literature and apply relevant findings.
