Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the GI procedural suite on Gonda 2 South. The Procedural RN will circulate and assist in procedures, collaborate with pre/post teams to plan and evaluate patient care, and educate patients and families while supporting the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.

The role requires active RN licensure, BLS certification, and flexibility to work varied hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and flexibility in scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in the GI procedural suite as a circulating/procedural RN.
• Collaborate with nursing staff in pre/post areas to plan and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and families and orient peers as needed.
• Provide leadership and participate in quality improvement activities.
• May be required to drive a personal vehicle for role duties.
