VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs and NPs with patient care and clerical duties. You will prepare exam rooms, manage patient flow and ensure accurate data in the EHR and PMS systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited MA or phlebotomy program, with 0–1 year experience (2–4 preferred). BLS is required or within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program.
• 0-1 year related work experience; 2-4 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required.
• Organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Basic proficiency in computer use.

Responsabilités

• Prepares examination room and escorts patient.
• Maintains efficient patient flow.
• Prepares information needed for patient visit.
• Documents vitals and allergies in EHR.
• Schedules appointments and manages calls/messages.
• Assists with ordering and stocking supplies.
• Documents encounters and reconciles in PMS/EHR.
