Job summary

Landmark Medical Center, Inc. in Woonsocket, RI is seeking a GI Technician to support physicians during invasive GI procedures. The CNA/tech hands instruments and supplies, stays prepared for emergencies, and assists the perioperative team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role requires a CNA or Medical Assistant training background with a high school diploma and current BLS certification, and it offers a full-time daytime shift with a $5,000 sign-on bonus where eligible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required/for new hires effective April 2014.
• Graduate of a CNA or Medical Assistant training program required.
• Minimum of 2 years GI setting experience preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician during invasive GI procedures as scrub assistant.
• Hand sterilized instruments, scopes, and supplies to physician promptly.
• Be prepared to assist in an emergency case within 30 minutes of on-call time.
• Support continuous, quality patient care for adults and older adults.
