Job summary

Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI, a 214-bed acute care hospital, seeks an Operating Room Tech to support sterile prep and instrument handling for surgical procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and ORT training with 3+ years in a surgical setting.

A current BLS certification is required on hire. The position is full-time with day shifts, and a sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or related experience.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on-the-job training with minimum 3 years surgical experience.
• Experience scrubbing in general/ortho or neurosurgical procedures preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each procedure.
• Maintain sterile field throughout the case.
• Provide surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during procedures.
