Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Field Director, GI – West to lead a GI Medical Science Liaison regional team across the Western U.S. territory, driving scientific engagement, strategy, and support for current and future products.

You will coach MSLs, align TA priorities, and ensure compliant, insight-driven medical activities. The Field Director partners with the MSL Head to translate Medical Affairs strategy into regional priorities, leveraging data and AI tools to guide decision making,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in pharma; 4 years in MSL and 2 years in leadership/MSL roles.
• GI/Immunology experience preferred; willingness to travel approx. 60%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a GI MSL regional team; drive performance with field visits and coaching.
• Develop regional strategy with the MSL Head; align TA strategy and medical objectives.
• Ensure ongoing training, development, and high-quality scientific exchange.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and cross‑functional partners to execute field medical programs.
