Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Field Director, GI – West to lead a regional MSL team across a broad Western U.S. territory.

You will translate Medical Affairs strategy into regional priorities, coach direct reports, and drive scientific engagement with health care professionals, ensuring compliant, insight-driven activities and performance excellence. The role requires a strong background in GI/Immunology, 8+ years in pharma with 2+ years in MSL roles, and proven leadership with travel

Qualifications

• Minimum of a master’s degree is required.
• 4+ years in pharmaceutical industry with at least 2 years in MSL or equivalent roles.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a GI MSL regional team across the West region.
• Partner with MSL Head to set regional TA strategy and priorities.
• Drive field medical programs, product launches, and HCP engagement with high scientific integrity.
• Coordinate with Medical Affairs and cross-functional partners to align objectives and execution.
