Job summary

Kiavets in D'Iberville, MS is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for an Automotive Service Technician role. This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), providing hands-on experience and leading to Kia Service Technician certification.

The apprenticeship allows full-time work at a Kia dealership while receiving support and training. Eligible Veterans may also receive a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) through the GI Bill.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.
