Millwood Hospital in Arlington, TX is seeking an Inpatient Therapist for our GERO unit to deliver evidence-based therapeutic services to inpatients. The role focuses on individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention, and discharge planning within an inpatient setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Social Work or a related field, state licensure (LPC/LMSW/LCSW/LMFT), and has 1–3 years of psychiatric care experience with strong assessment skills.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or clinical related mental health field required.
• 1–3 years experience in psychiatric health care facility with family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; strong clinical assessment skills required.
• State licensure: LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW required.
• CPR and CPI training must be completed prior to starting work.
• May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9/ICD-10 coding to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic, art therapy, and behavioral therapy.
• Manage crisis situations with crisis management techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management and discharge planning; maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation.
• Engage in clinical research activities when applicable to support quality improvement.
