Job summary

Millwood Hospital in Arlington, TX is seeking a Program Therapist to join the treatment team. This full-time role provides continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role-modeling to patients in either adult or adolescent populations at our outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities include organizing patient activities, charting, scheduling, driving vans when needed, and working under the Program Director. A Master’s in Social Work or related field and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
• Program Therapist requires a minimum of one year of experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; strong clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Active member of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role-modeling to patients (adult or adolescent).
• Organizing patient activities, filing, charting, calculating point sheets and levels, driving vans, and completing schedules.
• Work under the direction of the Program Director and/or Assistant Program Director.
• Not a remote position.
