Millwood Hospital, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), seeks an Inpatient Therapist for our GERO unit in Arlington, TX. The role focuses on psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and family counseling for adults, adolescents, and developing disabilities, in an inpatient setting.

The candidate will conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and documentation compliant with HIPAA. Licensure and relevant experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Social Work or a related clinical field.
• 1–3 years in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.
• State licensure: LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Manage crisis situations with de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning and accurate documentation.
• Contribute to clinical research and data collection when applicable.
