Job summary

Millwood Hospital is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Therapist to join the onsite clinical team in Arlington, TX. You will provide evidence-based psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and family counseling to patients across age groups in an inpatient setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Social Work or related field, with state licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMSW/LPC-A) and 1–3 years in psychiatric care. CPR/CPI training and competency assessment are required prior to start.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related mental health field.
• Active state licensure: LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW.
• 1-3 years in psychiatric healthcare with family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills.
• CPR and CPI training; must pass a competency exam on hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and diagnostic evaluations; develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Manage crisis situations using de-escalation techniques to ensure safety.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams; maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Engage in clinical research or data collection for quality improvement.
