Job summary

EverTrue is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee the nursing services department in a long-term care facility. You will guide staff, ensure policy adherence, and participate in rounds to ensure safe, quality care.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience in geriatrics; BSN preferred. Occasional direct resident care and committee participation are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
• Two+ years of related supervisory experience in a geriatric environment.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Must hold a current state applicable RN nursing license; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily activities of the nursing services department staff.
• Ensure consistent application of EverTrue policies and coach staff as needed.
• Develop, maintain and update written policies and procedures for nursing services.
• Perform administrative duties including performance evaluations, assignments, scheduling, and medical record documentation.
• Participate in direct resident care when necessary.
• Attend committee meetings as required.
• Act as Director of Nursing/Charge Nurse/MDS Coordinator in absence as assigned.
• Assist with in-service training of nursing staff.
• Support survey inspections by authorized agencies.
• Maintain safe work environment and infection control; disaster preparedness basics.
• Protect resident and employee confidentiality.
