Job summary

Curative in San Diego is seeking an Associate Medical Director to provide site-level clinical and administrative leadership at our PACE centers in Downtown San Diego. The role combines direct patient care with physician leadership to influence individual outcomes and center-wide quality of care.

The ideal candidate is an MD or DO board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine, with 3–5+ years of post-residency clinical experience, geriatric expertise, and at least 2–3 years in clinical

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• 3–5+ years of post-residency clinical experience.
• California medical licensure or eligibility.
• Experience caring for geriatric or medically complex populations.
• 2–3+ years of clinical leadership, medical directorship, administrative leadership, or GME faculty experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to medically complex and geriatric patients.
• Provide clinical oversight for participants in SNF and ALF settings.
• Mentor physicians and APPs; lead clinical education sessions.
• Partner with Medical Director to provide site-level clinical and administrative leadership.
• Support site operations and workflow improvement.
