Job summary

Curana Health is seeking physicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities in North Carolina. You’ll lead clinical teams, mentor APPs, and champion residents’ needs while maintaining flexible, physician-driven schedules.

This role emphasizes autonomy, value-based care, and a collaborative culture with extensive support for onboarding, training, and leadership development. Travel to facilities is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and current licensure to practice medicine.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and ability to mentor APPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physicals on new patients and conduct routine rounds at least weekly.
• Partner with Advanced Practice Providers to manage regulatory and complex visits with clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance and mentor the team to elevate care delivery.
• Close quality gaps and drive improvements in patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and represent Curana Health’s mission in communities.
• Support leadership with regulatory compliance and improve facility-level care.
