Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Staff Psychologist to provide psychological care to Veterans served by the Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC) Team at the Richard L. Roudebush VAMC.

You will evaluate clinical concerns, facilitate access to resources, and deliver psychodiagnostic assessments and evidence-based psychotherapy in Veterans' homes. This GS-13 position requires a doctoral degree in psychology, full licensure, and demonstrated knowledge of clinical treatments, research

Qualifications

Doctoral degree in psychology from APA/PCSAS/CPA accredited program.
Current, full licensure to practice psychology in the U.S./D.C./territory.
Preferred board certification in psychology or related specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide psychological care to Veterans in Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC).
Conduct assessments and provide psychodiagnostics using evidence-based treatments.
Collaborate with HBPC team and requesting providers to promote recovery and management of concerns.
Offer tele-mental health services as clinically indicated and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
