Job summary

Newave Care is seeking an Attending Physician to deliver comprehensive medical care for residents in long-term, subacute/post-acute, ventilator, and behavioral health units. Qualifications

• MD or DO with board eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license or eligibility and current DEA registration.
• Experience in post-acute/long-term care, ventilator, or behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical care to residents in long-term, subacute/post-acute, ventilator, and behavioral health settings.
• Perform rounds, evaluations, and follow-ups to ensure continuity of care.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary care team meetings and care plans.
• Manage chronic/complex conditions and respond to status changes with appropriate therapies.
• Communicate clearly with nursing, NP/PA teams, patients, families, and consultants.
• Coordinate care with nursing, rehab, and administration staff.
• Discuss goals of care and palliative options with patients and families.
