Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time Wellness Nurse to support residents with clinical monitoring and assistance to nursing teams. You will help ensure regulatory compliance, assist with medications, and coordinate with external providers to deliver high-quality geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three (3) years' experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans.
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians’ orders.
• Assist with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes.
• Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
