Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Mason, OH seeks a Wellness Nurse to support residents with clinical monitoring and care coordination in a part-time role. You will assist nursing staff, administer medications per physician orders, and ensure care plans are followed with compassion and teamwork.

Ideal candidates hold a practical nursing credential, current license, and state registration, with geriatric assessment experience; familiarity with state regulations is a plus, and flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years' experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans.
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians' orders.
• Coordinate care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations including significant changes.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
