Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities seeks a compassionate Wellness Nurse to support residents with ongoing clinical monitoring and collaboration with nurses and medication staff. This PRN role focuses on regulatory compliance, care plans, and timely reporting of changes.

Ideal candidates hold a practical nursing credential, current state license (LPN or RN), and at least three years in geriatric assessment. You’ll join a team dedicated to high‑quality resident care and supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state regulations and procedures required for compliance.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years' experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans.
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians’ orders.
• Assistance with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes.
• Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
