Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse to provide ongoing clinical monitoring and support for residents. You will assist community nurses, caregivers, and medication staff to ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence, working with a warm, adaptable team.

Full-time schedule is 6am-6pm in Cary, NC. You must hold a practical nursing credential, state license, and have geriatric assessment experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years' experience in assessment and geriatric nursing, preferred.
• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans.
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians’ orders.
• Assistance with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes.
• Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
