Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support resident health with clinical monitoring and teamwork across care teams. This PRN role emphasizes compassionate, compliant care and readiness to adapt to changing resident needs.

You will assist with admissions, ensure care plans are followed, administer medications per orders, and coordinate services with external providers. A warm, patient demeanor is essential to support our residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• State regulations knowledge required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license (LPN or RN).
• Three years’ experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred.
• Demonstrates compassion for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating resident admissions, including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as outlined in care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physicians’ orders.
• Coordinate care with outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
