Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support residents with clinical monitoring, coordinate with nurses and medication staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a warm, encouraging approach to residents.

Full-time schedule is 6am-6pm with a salary range of $36.00-39.00 per hour. Candidates should have an active nursing license (LPN or RN) and geriatric care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years’ experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred.
• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians’ orders
• Assistance with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians
• Document and report care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes
• Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing

Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN)
