Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Cary, IL seeks a Wellness Nurse for a full-time role with a 6am–6pm schedule to support residents' health and wellbeing. You will collaborate with team members to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care, including admission screening, care plans, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Regulatory knowledge and policy compliance for safe resident care.
• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years’ experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred.
• Positive attitude with compassion for residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident admissions including screening and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans.
• Administer medications and ensure orders are followed.
• Coordinate care with outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
