Job summary

Jeffrey & Susan Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody, MA, seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our clinical team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on evaluating and treating residents with speech and language disorders, coordinating with physicians and the care team, and educating families.

The position requires MA licensure as an SLP and at least 1 year in geriatrics or related rehab settings, with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold MA Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in geriatrics, long-term care, or short-term rehab.
• English language fluency required, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for speech and language disorders and develop individualized plans of care with the care team.
• Provide rehabilitative speech-language therapy, intervening and educating patients and families.
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress and changes in condition.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team and schedule.
• Support patients and families to promote independence and continuity of care.
• Maintain compliance with policies, infection control, safety, and emergencies while managing workload.
