Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- Current SLP with ASHA CCC certification for Alabama.
- Licensure to practice in Alabama is required.
- Minimum 2 years in skilled nursing or similar setting preferred.
- Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care.
