Job summary

Ridgeway Rehab Center in Catonsville, MD, is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 61-bed skilled nursing team. You will provide hands-on care, perform assessments, and lead with clinical expertise. Collaboration with physicians, CNAs, and LPNs is essential to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland or Multistate.
• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus—but we’ll train the right candidate
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• A team-player mindset with a passion for patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assess and monitor residents’ health status and respond promptly to changes
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed
• Document accurately in EMR
• Follow all facility policies and procedures
• Serve as charge nurses when assigned
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
• Attend required educational activities and meetings
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
• Demonstrate respect for resident rights and dignity
