Job summary

The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset in New York seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) for Saturday and Sunday coverage in a skilled nursing setting. The RT evaluates and treats residents independently, maintaining records and supporting the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques for various illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform a variety of bedside treatments and track documentation.
