HealthMark Rehabilitation seeks a Full-time CCC-SLP/CFY to evaluate and treat residents and short-term patients at our Hewitt Nursing and Rehabilitation facility near Waco, Texas. Responsibilities include therapy per physician orders, documentation, billing, and maintaining a safe treatment area.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas license for appropriate discipline: CCC-SLP.
• Strong oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and interact with all levels of staff and customers.
• Demonstrates time management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services per physician orders and professional standards.
• Develops a comprehensive plan of care with measurable short and long-term goals.
• Performs skilled treatments in accordance with the plan of care.
• Documents patient responses, progress, and changes within required timeframes.
• Completes all required documentation in a timely manner per regulations.
• Completes billing for services rendered in compliance with regulations.
• Maintains rehab gym equipment and treatment area with infection prevention in mind.
