HealthMark Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Speech Therapist (CCC-SLP) to evaluate and treat residents and short-term patients at the Accel at College Station facility in College Station, Texas. The role involves developing a care plan, providing skilled therapy, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas license/certification: CCC-SLP.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively at all staff levels.
• Demonstrates time management and organization.
• Demonstrates independent clinical judgment and problem solving.
• Meets physical requirements for duties.
• Geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Successful completion of hiring process/background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services per physician orders and standards of practice.
• Develops overall plan of care with goals, duration and frequency to support discharge.
• Performs skilled treatments and adheres to plan of care.
• Documents observations, responses, progress and changes within required timelines.
• Completes timely documentation and billing per state/federal regulations.
• Maintains rehab gym equipment and treatment area with infection control practices.
