Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation in Arlington, Texas is seeking a full-time CCC-Speech Pathologist to serve residents and short-term patients at our Green Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation facility.

You will provide therapy services per physician orders, develop an ongoing plan of care with measurable goals, document progress, and ensure timely billing while maintaining a safe, infection-controlled rehab area. Texas licensure is required, with geriatric rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas license/certification for CCC-SLP.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and interact with staff and customers.
• Demonstrates time management and organizational abilities.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Successful completion of hiring process and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services per physician orders and accepted professional practices.
• Develop an overall therapy plan of care including treatment and goals with planned duration and frequency.
• Therapists perform skilled treatments according to the plan of care.
• Document observations, progress and changes within required timeframes.
• Complete timely billing in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain rehab gym equipment and treatment area with infection prevention.
