Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients. Under supervision, you will oversee patients, rehab technicians, and PT assistants in accordance with state practice acts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Six months to one year experience in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy preferred; adults and geriatrics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of PT assistants per State Practice Acts.
• Work in alignment with Mercy mission, values and service standards.
