Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under the supervision of Therapy Leadership. The role includes supervising patients and rehabilitation staff in accordance with Mercy Service Standards, and ensuring care aligns with departmental policies.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctoral/Professional PT degree (or equivalent) and an active state license, with BLS certification current.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; certifications must be current before caring for patients independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants as per State Practice Acts.
