Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and design individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes supervising patients and rehab staff as allowed by state practice acts, under therapy leadership.

Requires a PT degree (BPT/MS/DPT), current licensure, and BLS certification. Six months to one year of preferred rehab PT experience with adult/geriatric care is desired.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license to practice physical therapy in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required and must be current before caring for patients independently.
• Preferred experience: six months to one year in rehab PT, with adult/geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and oversee rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants as allowed by state practice acts.
