Job summary

Mercy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients under supervision of Therapy Leadership. You will perform assessments and create individualized treatment plans, while supervising rehab technicians and PT assistants in accordance with state practice acts.

Education options include a Bachelor, MS in Physical Therapy, or DPT. BLS certification is required. Mercy supports ongoing education and a team oriented, compassionate work culture.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification is required and must be current before caring for patients independently.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants as per state acts.
