Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to provide objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under the supervision of Therapy Leadership. The role includes direct supervision of patients, supervising rehab staff, and ensuring practice aligns with Mercy standards and state policies.

Eligible candidates must hold a current PT license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current State license of Physical Therapy.
• BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of PT assistants per State Practice Acts.
• Operate in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Education

Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
