Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess and design individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatric patients. Under supervision of Therapy Leadership, you will supervise patients and rehabilitation staff, adhering to Mercy Service Standards and state regulations.

A current physical therapy license and BLS certification are required. The role emphasizes teamwork with therapy leadership, ongoing patient care, and adherence to department policies.

Qualifications

• Current State license of Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Education

Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
